I have a passionate belief in the charity sector and the power it has to change our world. Having worked as a senior fundraising practitioner for over 20 years, I now support organisations on a consultancy basis to increase their impact.
I am a strategic, target-oriented professional with considerable and significant experience in senior management in the voluntary sector and proven leadership and management skills. I support organisations to deliver growth through effective fundraising, communications and organisational development. I have a proven track record of delivering and exceeding targets, and leading teams to achieve organisational goals while developing their individual skills.
As a consultant, I have supported a number of Scottish National, UK wide and International organisations with their fundraising and strategic challenges.
Prior to that, I was Director of Fundraising and Communications at Children 1st where I more than trebled voluntary income while reducing expenditure to its most effective minimum. During my time at Children 1st I was responsible for the strategic and operational development of the Fundraising and Communications Team, and as a member of the Executive Team, for leading the organisation to fulfil its mission and vision, often during periods of considerable change.
If when we speak you detect my foreign accent, it’s because I was born and grew up in Argentina, where I studied languages with the purpose of teaching children and adults. A twist of fate brought me to Scotland where I happily made my home and career.
